Pre-entry requirements

You must be at least 16 years of age to apply for a FRTOL.

You must also have passed the communications theoretical knowledge examination for PPL(A) or LAPL(A) in the last 24 months.

You shall have demonstrated English language proficiency at level 4, 5 or 6.

Validity period

A FRTOL issued after 17th September 2012 does not expire, provided that your English Language Proficiency endorsement is current.
