Trial Flying Lessons are provided by Gamston Flying School Limited, located at Retford (Gamston) Airport, Retford, Nottinghamshire, England, United Kingdom, DN22 0QL.

By purchasing our Trial Flying Lesson eVouchers, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Cancellation

  1. All flights are carried out subject to suitable weather conditions, aircraft serviceability and operational requirements being met, as such all flights are subject to cancellation at short notice.
  2. In the event of your flight being cancelled for any reason whatsoever, including aircraft un-serviceability and/or inclement weather the operator will not be responsible for the costs of travel, accommodation or any other associated costs incurred.
  3. In the event that any flight is cancelled by the operator, the client should attempt to rebook the flight to be taken before the voucher expiry date.
  4. In circumstances where the client has made a booking which was cancelled by Gamston Flying School Limited and the voucher's expiry is imminent, Gamston Flying School Limited may mark the voucher as postponed, meaning it can be used by a mutually agreed date after the expiry date.

2. Vouchers

  1. The voucher cannot be exchanged for any other goods and/or services. However, vouchers may be upgraded for an increased duration of lesson or larger aircraft (where applicable) but the client will be liable for the cost to upgrade the voucher.
  2. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
  3. Refunds may be given provided that the voucher is valid and unused but an administration fee of £20.00 will be incurred. A receipt of payment and the voucher code must be provided for the voucher to be refunded.
  4. An unused voucher, excluding where 1.4 has been applied, may be extended beyond the expiry date but a cost of £15.00 per month will be charged for this service.

3. Participants

  1. Children must be 10 years or over to undertake a Trial Flying Lesson.
  2. There is an individual passenger weight restriction of 17 Stone (108kg). We may decline to fly passengers if the aircraft's safe operating limit is reached.
  3. The Pilot/Instructor as Captain of the aircraft has at his/her discretion the right to refuse to carry any person onboard the aircraft whom they consider to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who is acting inappropriately in any manner or way. The Captain’s word is final in this instance.
  4. All participants should ensure that they are in reasonably good health, and fully mobile unaided. If in doubt they should seek the medical advice of a GP.
  5. All clients wishing to participate in the flight must complete a temporary membership form prior to the flight.
  6. Passengers wishing to take/use cameras and/or other photographic equipment on the flight do so entirely at their own risk.
  7. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken to ensure the safety of all passengers and guests it shall be noted that neither the aircraft owner nor the aircraft operator can be held liable for any loss, damage or injury to any persons or their property/belongings, which does not result from their direct negligence.
  8. Any participant/person failing to take their confirmed flight shall render the voucher invalid.
